Windows 95 Counter Installation
This document is intended to provide a step-by-step installation procedure for Windows 95 users who have never edited HTML using an ASCII text editor. The screens shown below will not match yours exactly, but you'll get the idea. You may wish to print this document for easy reference.

After completing the registration form at http://www.ultimatecounter.com, you will receive an email similar to the one shown below. This screen shot shows the Netscape Communicator mail program. Your mail program might be different, but the steps are the same.

Windows 95 has now stored the HTML in memory. At this point, you can exit your mail program.

Now, we're going to paste the HTML code into your web page document using an ASCII text editor.

Now all that's left is to upload the new HTML document from your hard disk to the server where your web site is hosted. You already know how to do this - just use the same procedure you normally would use to update your page.
